The Inspire-Aspire poster awards have encouraged pupils to think more deeply about what they value and gives more substance to their own personal ambitions, qualities and sense of well being. According to John Cudlipp, Broughton High School, "the pupils have engaged very well with the process and developed their thinking by using critical thinking skills as well as peer evaluation to inform their viewpoint. Allowing the pupils to investigate this in the life of an Three pupils commenting about their experience said:
“I think I have learned how to reflect on what I have done in my life and what goals I want to achieve in the future”.
“ I believe I have learned how to look at myself and consider others”.
“I think I have achieved a sense of reflection in my life by looking at both the good and bad aspects of myself”
